Can you feel it? The inevitable scent of Autumn is approaching. As for me, there are no regrets that summer is passing. Autumn, there is still so much warmth in it, may be not in weather but in feeling for sure. Whatever, it is getting colder outside… and the idea of a convenient cover up is coming steadily. Not the one that would be something like coat (too heavy – may be for the winter), not talking about the trench coat neither, leather jacket – yes, but there must be something else, something different.
Me, personally was always admiring the Parisian women autumn style, – simplicity, chic, femininity and at the same time comfort and confidence. And the best cover up that is giving you all these things together is a perfect oversized tweed jacket. Honestly, I’ve been looking for a perfect one for about 4 years now.
I was searching the right one – that hits just over your bottom, made from soft wool, with just right “amount of oversizing” (talking about shoulders, considering my petite frame :0).
I’ve finished this search by popping into “what’s new” section in one of the online stores. It was Isabel Marant’s Halden blazer. It looks masculine though, but as soon as you wear it, it gives you the feminine fragility sensation. The one, that is really simple to style, it goes pretty much with everything (think for yourself) for me, the best combination is with apples and cinnamon swirls and a cup of tea… 😉 By the way do you know how to make a cinnamon swirl? Already can smell it… No more jackets, off to learn how to make one. Just for “the combination”.
